Waveform hypotheses
Slow sky geometry as a continuous z-scored wave, tested against log returns — never raw price. · 10 min
Why a wave
Outer-planet events are rare. A waveform sums weight * sin(harmonic * angle + phase) over daily sky samples and z-scores the result.
The Bradley-style siderograph preset is labelled as a 1948 historical reference. It is not an astronomical law.
Metrics and nulls
Train-only lagged correlation (returns vs first difference of the wave), Sakoe-Chiba DTW matching wobr-market-memory, PIP+moments cosine (26 trailing zeros — no second Qdrant index). Surrogates: phase-randomised terms, circular shifts, block bootstrap. Sample size is Bartlett nEffective.
Method
Analog windows, when shown, are queried from Market Memory. RAINBOW does not build a second vector database.
Key points
- Holdout is evaluated once; Rainbow Score uses |corr| / 0.3 for effect.
- Demo prices have no sky input; a waveform run on them should look like noise and stay labelled DEMO.
